Bethany Brendlinger currently serves as the Hospitality Education and Workforce Development Specialist for the department of Human Nutrition, Hospitality and Sport Management at The University of Alabama. With goals to bridge the gap between academia and industry, her team is working on engagement opportunities and training initiatives to foster industry growth by empowering the drivers of guest satisfaction – our frontline employees. 

 

While obtaining her BA in Language, Literature, and Culture from Virginia Tech and her MS in Hospitality Management from The University of Alabama, Bethany has enjoyed over 25 years of work in the hospitality industry. During her career, Bethany has witnessed hospitality’s invaluable impact on society as we facilitate life’s celebrations, milestones and memories, comfort in tragedy, and growth of business. Utilizing passion and perseverance to drive her, Bethany is determined to assemble resources and cultivate solutions to actively equip the frontlines of Alabama’s hospitality industry.
