I joined the local USTA ( United States Tennis Association) and started playing in some leagues as did my husband. This opened up opportunities for us to begin to build relationships based on shared interests and experiences. It also paved the way for suggestions regarding doing business in a small southern community. Through the Decatur Morgan County Entrepreneurial Center I was introduced to the local Unted Way and joined their Women's Leadership Council and began volunteering on different campaigns that they were initiating to fund local NGO's and care providers. The Holistic Performance Group then helped organize and produce a charity tennis and golf tourney which brought in volunteers from around the community.
In the Middle East and the Orient business relationships stem from, and depend upon interpersonal communcations and relations. Although our high tech society is one where our primary connection with someone may be through email or text the need for connection, identification and stability remain.
